AVIX Autonomic Mark II — Automated Laser Bird Deterrent
The AVIX Autonomic Mark II is the most advanced automated laser bird repellent in the AVIX range, developed by Bird Control Group. After a one-time configuration it projects a moving green laser beam across your site around the clock — birds perceive the approaching light as a physical threat and leave the area. The result is a silent, chemical-free bird deterrent proven to cut bird numbers by up to 90%, with no habituation over time, and trusted by facilities in more than 90 countries. It replaces gas cannons, netting, spikes and repeat clean-ups with a single low-maintenance system that runs day and night.

Carefree installation & maintenance
The bird repellent is installed and configured within a few hours and needs very little upkeep — the laser source lasts 3–5 years. Its modular design lets you swap any component in about five minutes, with no specialist tools or training required.

Custom laser projection
Program up to 16 patterns across 10 time slots, assigning each pattern to a specific part of the day. With 250 individual waypoints per pattern you can target trouble spots selectively for the most effective bird deterrent coverage.
Easy control with AVIX Connect
Connect to the AVIX Connect app over Bluetooth to configure the unit, create waypoints, push updates and check status. A remote status & control module adds wireless ON/OFF and push alerts if the unit loses power — available for Android and iOS.

Flexible, neighbour-friendly mounting
Mount the AVIX Autonomic on a horizontal frame, a vertical bracket or a pole-top bracket to clear obstacles and cover long distances. An optional solar kit runs it fully off-grid, and the laser repels birds in complete silence.
Where the AVIX Autonomic Mark II fits
From a single mounting point the AVIX Autonomic Mark II protects large, complex sites automatically — which makes it ideal for warehouses and logistics centres. Its laser is configured to sweep known roosting zones across roofs, loading bays and storage yards, moving birds on continuously without ever interrupting daily operations or traffic below.
The same system secures industrial sites and factories, rooftops and solar installations, high-rise buildings, and prestigious or sensitive structures such as landmark architecture and historical monuments — protecting facades, ledges and roofs where nets and spikes are unsightly, damaging or impractical.

On these sites birds are more than a nuisance: droppings and nesting drive recurring cleaning costs, create slip and biosecurity hazards for staff and contractors, accelerate corrosion and roof damage, block gutters and drainage, and raise fire risk where nests gather near electrical systems. By keeping birds away preventively, the AVIX Autonomic helps facilities cut bird-related costs and risk by over 70% while supporting safety, hygiene and ESG compliance goals.
Service & Warranty
Every AVIX Autonomic is backed by an AVIX Service Level Agreement for extended warranty and ongoing optimisation, plus AVIX Academy laser-safety training for everyone who sells, installs or operates the system. The modular design keeps any downtime to a minimum, and your local certified partner handles assessment, installation and tuning.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the AVIX Autonomic repel birds?
It projects a moving green laser beam across the protected area. Birds perceive the approaching beam as an oncoming physical danger and fly away, so the area stays clear without nets, chemicals or noise.
Do birds get used to the laser over time?
No. The projection is unpredictable, so birds do not habituate. Customers consistently report bird reductions of at least 70%, and up to 90%, that last over time.
Is it safe for people and other animals?
Yes. Safety features include a key-lock switch, an emergency-stop button and password protection, all compliant with IEC 60825-1:2014. The laser repels birds without harming them or other animals.
Can it run without mains power?
Yes. With the optional solar accessory kit the AVIX Autonomic operates fully off-grid, making it ideal for remote fields and sites without a power connection.
