Shipping & Delivery

Last updated: 1 June 2026

This policy explains how we process, ship and deliver orders placed through our online store at www.gulfnetemirates.com/drs, and how payment and pricing work. It should be read together with our Terms and Conditions.

1. Order processing

Orders are processed during our normal business days, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Once your order and payment are confirmed, in-stock items are usually prepared for dispatch within 1 to 2 business days. For enterprise equipment, bundles and items supplied to order, we will confirm the expected timeline with you directly.

2. Delivery within the UAE

We offer free delivery on all orders across the United Arab Emirates. In-stock items are typically delivered within 1 to 3 business days of dispatch. Larger enterprise systems and equipment delivered to order may take longer, and we will keep you informed of the expected delivery date.

3. International shipping

GulfNet Emirates ships worldwide. For orders delivered outside the UAE, shipping is quoted per order based on the destination, weight and dimensions; the shipping cost is confirmed to you before your order is finalised. The customer is the importer of record and is responsible for all import duties, taxes, customs charges and any local clearance requirements in the destination country. We recommend confirming that an item may lawfully be imported and operated in your country before ordering.

4. Enterprise and large equipment

Enterprise drones, docks and large or high-value systems may be delivered by scheduled appointment or specialist courier to ensure they arrive safely. Where installation, setup or training is included or purchased, we will coordinate the schedule with you.

5. Tracking your order

Once your order is dispatched, we will send you confirmation and, where available, tracking details so you can follow your delivery. If you have any question about the status of your order, contact us at [email protected].

6. Receiving your delivery

Please inspect your delivery on arrival. If the packaging is visibly damaged or the contents are incorrect, note it with the courier where possible and contact us within 7 days so we can put it right. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery; ownership passes once payment has been received in full. We are not able to take responsibility for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete address or contact details, so please check these carefully at checkout.

7. Payment and pricing

All prices are shown in UAE Dirhams (AED). Unless stated otherwise, prices are exclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT); VAT at the applicable rate of 5% is added and shown before you complete checkout. We accept payment by debit and credit card through our secure payment gateway, and by bank transfer for eligible business customers. Selected enterprise products and bundles are offered through our “Request a Quote” process rather than at a fixed online price. Request a quotation and we will prepare pricing for you. Goods remain the property of GulfNet Emirates until payment has been received in full.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does drone shipping take in the UAE?
For in-stock orders placed through the GulfNet Emirates DRS store, dispatch usually happens within 1 to 2 business days after payment is confirmed, and delivery within the UAE typically takes another 1 to 3 business days. That puts most standard drone orders in the buyer's hands within roughly a working week. Larger enterprise systems, docking stations, and items supplied to order run on a project timeline confirmed at the point of purchase, since these often ship by scheduled appointment or specialist courier. Business days run Monday to Friday, excluding UAE public holidays, so orders placed late in the week or during a holiday period will start processing on the next working day.

Is delivery free for drones ordered within the UAE?
Yes. All orders placed on the GulfNet Emirates DRS store and delivered inside the United Arab Emirates ship free of charge, regardless of size or order value. That covers standard enterprise drones, agricultural platforms, payloads, robotics units, and accessories bought online. Prices on the store are quoted in AED and are exclusive of VAT, with 5% VAT added at checkout before payment is completed. Free UAE delivery applies to the standard courier route. Where an enterprise drone, dock, or high-value system needs a scheduled appointment or specialist handling, that is arranged as part of the order, and the delivery method is agreed with the buyer directly rather than charged as an add-on.

Do you ship drones across the GCC?
Yes, GulfNet Emirates ships worldwide, and that includes buyers across the wider GCC. For any UAV shipping GCC route, whether to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, or Kuwait, the freight cost is quoted per order based on destination, weight, and dimensions, and confirmed to the buyer before the order is finalised. Delivery timelines outside the UAE depend on the carrier, customs clearance, and local regulations in the destination country. The buyer acts as the importer of record in the receiving country, so it is worth confirming that the specific drone model can lawfully be imported and operated there before placing the order. Enterprise orders are usually scheduled with the buyer directly.

Who pays the import duties and customs charges on international drone orders?
On any order shipped outside the UAE, the customer is treated as the importer of record. That means all import duties, VAT or sales tax in the destination country, customs charges, and local clearance fees are the buyer's responsibility, not part of the GulfNet Emirates invoice. The store quote covers the product, applicable UAE pricing, and the outbound freight cost agreed before checkout. Anything charged by the destination country's customs authority sits outside that quote. Enterprise buyers typically arrange this through their own broker or freight partner. It is a good idea to check the current drone import rules, licensing requirements, and any restricted-item lists in the receiving country before confirming the order.

How are enterprise drones and docking stations delivered?
Enterprise drones, drone-in-a-box docks, and other large or high-value systems are handled differently from a standard courier drop-off. GulfNet Emirates delivers these by scheduled appointment or through a specialist courier so the equipment arrives safely and can be checked on arrival. Where installation, setup, or training has been included with the order or purchased separately, the schedule is coordinated with the buyer directly so the delivery, unboxing, and commissioning steps line up. This matters for units like fixed docks, RTK stations, and heavier agricultural drones, which need careful handling and often need a site walkthrough or power and network readiness confirmed before the equipment is delivered.

Can I track my drone order after it ships?
Yes. Once an order is dispatched from the GulfNet Emirates DRS store, a dispatch confirmation is sent to the buyer, and where the carrier provides tracking, those details are shared so the shipment can be followed to the door. For enterprise orders moving by scheduled appointment or specialist courier, updates are handled directly with the account contact rather than through a public tracking link. Any question about the status of a live order can be sent to the support email listed on the store, and the team will confirm the current stage, whether that is payment clearance, warehouse preparation, in transit, or out for final delivery. Buyers should keep their contact details accurate to avoid missed handover attempts.

What are the typical drone delivery times UAE buyers should plan for?
For in-stock consumer, prosumer, and standard enterprise items, buyers in the UAE should plan for roughly 1 to 2 business days of order processing, followed by 1 to 3 business days of courier transit, so a full turnaround inside a working week is realistic. Larger enterprise systems, docks, and made-to-order equipment run on a longer, agreed timeline confirmed at order stage, because these often involve OEM allocation, scheduled freight, and appointment-based delivery. Payment clearance also affects the start of processing: card payments confirm faster than bank transfers, so bank transfer orders begin dispatch preparation once the funds are received. Public holidays in the UAE pause business days, which can shift delivery by a day or two.

What happens if my drone arrives damaged or the wrong item is delivered?
Deliveries should be inspected on arrival. If the outer packaging is visibly damaged or the contents do not match the order, the buyer should note it with the courier at the point of handover where possible and contact GulfNet Emirates within 7 days so the issue can be resolved. Risk in the goods passes to the buyer on delivery, and ownership passes only once payment has been received in full, so early inspection protects both sides. Photographs of the damaged box, the internal packaging, and the affected unit help speed up the review. This 7-day window is specifically for delivery condition and order accuracy issues, and sits separately from the standard returns and warranty terms.

Do prices on the store include VAT, and what payment options are available?
All prices on the GulfNet Emirates DRS store are shown in UAE Dirhams (AED). Unless a listing states otherwise, prices are exclusive of VAT, and 5% VAT is added and shown clearly before checkout is completed. Payment is accepted by debit and credit card through a secure payment gateway, and by bank transfer for eligible business customers. Selected enterprise products, bundles, and higher-value systems are not sold at a fixed online price and instead run through the Request a Quote process, where the team prepares a tailored quotation covering the product, freight, and any services. Goods legally remain the property of GulfNet Emirates until the full payment has been received and cleared.

Can I get a formal quotation for a large procurement instead of using online checkout?
Yes. For enterprise buyers, government departments, and any procurement involving multiple units, bundles, or higher-value systems, the Request a Quote process is the preferred route rather than the standard online cart. A quotation typically covers the product configuration, applicable UAE pricing in AED with VAT clearly shown, freight or scheduled delivery arrangements, and any installation, setup, or training that has been requested. Bank transfer is accepted for eligible business customers, which suits procurement workflows that need a formal invoice against a purchase order. Enterprise deliveries can be scheduled by appointment or specialist courier, so tender-driven or site-linked timelines can usually be aligned with a project's readiness dates.

How does drone shipping UAE work for orders placed late on Friday or over the weekend?
Orders and payments received outside the standard business week are logged as they arrive, but processing begins on the next working day. GulfNet Emirates processes orders Monday to Friday, excluding UAE public holidays, so an order placed late on a Friday or during the weekend will typically enter the 1 to 2 business day dispatch window from the following Monday. In practice, that means a weekend order for an in-stock item is often dispatched early in the new week and delivered within the standard 1 to 3 business day transit thereafter. Public holidays can extend that slightly. Enterprise orders and made-to-order equipment follow their own agreed timeline rather than the standard courier window.

Do I need to check drone import rules in my country before ordering from GulfNet Emirates?
For any international order, yes. Drone regulations differ significantly between countries, covering pilot registration, permitted weight classes, remote ID, radio spectrum, camera and mapping payloads, and, in some markets, outright bans on specific brands or models. Because the customer is the importer of record on cross-border shipments, it is the buyer's responsibility to confirm that the specific model can lawfully be imported into and operated in the destination country before the order is placed. This applies to enterprise drones, agricultural platforms, delivery UAVs, and payloads alike. Checking with the local civil aviation authority or a licensed customs broker in the receiving country ahead of ordering avoids clearance delays and unnecessary import charges.
