The Unitree As2 is a compact, industrial-grade quadruped robot that packs roughly twice the dynamic performance of the popular Go2 into an 18 kg frame. Powerful PMSM joint motors, a 648 Wh battery, IP54 weatherproofing and an 8-core compute platform let it carry heavy payloads, run at up to 5 m/s and operate for hours across rough, real-world terrain — from inspection and patrol to logistics, research and emergency response.

Powerful Motors, Exceptional Payload
Custom low-inertia, high-speed inner-rotor PMSM joint motors deliver a maximum joint torque of approximately 90 N·m and a class-leading torque-to-weight ratio of about 5 N·m/kg — remarkable for an 18 kg robot. That power lets the As2 carry up to 65 kg standing and a 15 kg payload while walking, matching the muscle of machines twice its size.
Ultra-Long Endurance, Expand Boundaries
A 648 Wh (15,000 mAh) high-capacity battery keeps the As2 working far longer than its size suggests: 4+ hours of runtime unloaded, 2.5+ hours while carrying 15 kg, and a walking range exceeding 13 km. Fast charging and an optional charging dock minimise downtime between missions.
All-Weather Adaptability, Reliable Operation
An IP54 rainproof design lets the As2 keep working through rain, dust and temperature swings from −20 °C to 50 °C. From humid coastlines to dusty industrial sites, it delivers stable performance in the complex weather and environments real deployments demand.
Agile Bionic, Exceptional Dynamics
A Bionic Embodied Large Model gives the As2 fluid, lifelike motion — running, climbing and jumping with ease. Maximum no-load speed reaches 5 m/s, and it clears 50 cm vertical platforms, 25 cm stairs and 40° slopes, staying sure-footed where wheeled machines stall.
Precise Perception, Intelligent Following
An 8-core high-performance CPU pairs with Unitree’s self-developed ISS 3.0 Intelligent Follow System for centimetre-level positioning and stable side-by-side companion / following. Industrial 64–128-line LiDAR and an HD camera give the robot reliable awareness of its surroundings.
Open Platform, Empowering Innovation
The As2 EDU opens a developer-friendly platform with full secondary-development support, large-AI-model integration and a high-computing expansion dock (Orin NX and more). It is built for embodied-AI interaction, autonomous decision-making and rapid research and integration.
