Unitree Go2-W Wheeled Quadruped Robot

The Unitree Go2-W is a wheel-legged quadruped robot that fuses four-legged agility with in-wheel motors and 7-inch pneumatic tyres for fast, stable movement across almost any terrain. It carries up to ~8 kg (12 kg max), clears obstacles and drops up to 70 cm, climbs 35° slopes and stairs, and runs 1.5–3 hours per charge. With a super-wide-angle 3D LiDAR, HD wide-angle camera and an 8-core compute platform (expandable to NVIDIA Orin NX), it is a versatile base for inspection, research and secondary development.

Unitree Go2-W — Driving All Terrain

Built on the proven Go2 platform, the Unitree Go2-W adds powered in-wheel motors to each leg — so it can walk, climb and roll. The result is a robot that glides smoothly over flat ground and rough trails alike, conquers kerbs and obstacles, climbs stairs, and even performs dynamic moves like handstands — all while staying connected over WiFi 6, 4G and Bluetooth and receiving continuous OTA upgrades.

Wheel-Leg Hybrid Drive

Each leg is driven by an integrated in-wheel motor paired with a 7-inch pneumatic tyre, working alongside 16 aluminium knee-joint motors that deliver up to ~45 N·m of torque. The hybrid system lets the Go2-W switch seamlessly between legged walking and wheeled rolling — speed on smooth surfaces, stability on broken ground.

All-Terrain Pass, Easy Glide

Gravel, grass, slopes and indoor floors — the Go2-W crosses them all at up to 2.5 m/s. The pneumatic tyres absorb shock and maintain grip, giving smooth, efficient gliding motion that keeps payloads and sensors stable on the move.

Conquer Obstacles up to 70 cm

With a maximum climb/drop height of under 70 cm and a 35° climbing angle, the Go2-W steps over kerbs, ledges and debris that stop wheeled robots. Active obstacle sensing keeps it steady as it negotiates challenging real-world environments.

Stand Tall & Climb Stairs

The Go2-W rises to see further, climbs staircases with ease and pulls off agile manoeuvres — even handstands. Dynamic balance and powerful joints make light work of multi-level sites, indoors and out.

Unlimited Expansion

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes the Go2-W different from the standard Go2?
The Go2-W adds in-wheel motors and 7-inch pneumatic tyres to the Go2 platform, so it can roll as well as walk — combining the speed of wheels with the all-terrain agility of legs.
What can the Go2-W carry?
It handles a payload of approximately 8 kg, with a maximum of around 12 kg — suitable for sensors, inspection payloads and research equipment.
Is it suitable for secondary development?
Yes. The Go2-W supports an open SDK, an expandable NVIDIA Orin NX computing module and full connectivity (WiFi 6 / 4G / Bluetooth) for custom applications and research.
How long does the battery last?
The 15,000 mAh battery delivers roughly 1.5–3 hours of operation per charge, depending on workload, and supports fast charging at 33.6 V / 9 A.
Does it come with a warranty?
Yes — the Go2-W includes a 12-month warranty.
How do I get pricing and lead time?
