A Display You Can Actually Read in Sunlight
The 7.02-inch screen runs at 1920×1200 resolution, 60 fps and a peak brightness of 1400 nits — bright enough to stay clear under harsh midday sun where ordinary tablets wash out. Ten-point multi-touch and an adaptive three-colour indicator system make the interface fast to read at a glance, so your attention stays on the aircraft and the mission, not on shielding the screen.
O4 Enterprise Transmission — Range and Stability
A built-in multi-beam high-gain antenna array (2T4R) drives the O4 Enterprise video system to a maximum range of 25 km (FCC), holding a stable, low-latency feed across urban canyons and open terrain alike. The directional antenna design concentrates signal where the aircraft is flying, so the link stays solid even as you push the mission to the edge of legal range.
Hybrid SDR + 4G Transmission
When obstacles or distance threaten the radio link, the RC Plus 2 falls back on 4G connectivity through the DJI Cellular Dongle 2, blending cellular and SDR transmission into one uninterrupted feed. It is the difference between aborting a flight behind a ridge line and completing it — coverage that follows the aircraft into places line-of-sight radio cannot reach.
Built for the Field
An IP54 protection rating keeps dust and splashing water out, and a -20°C to 50°C operating range means the controller works in the same conditions your crew does — from cold-morning inspections to desert heat. The rugged body, physical sticks and tactile buttons are designed for gloved hands and real worksites, not climate-controlled offices.
All-Day Power, No Downtime
A high-density internal battery (6500 mAh, 46.8 Wh) delivers roughly 3.8 hours of use, while the optional WB37 external battery hot-swaps to extend runtime without powering down the controller. PD fast charging tops the internal and external batteries together in about 2 hours, and a 65 W USB-C input keeps the station ready between sorties.
Connectivity and Storage Built In
128 GB of internal storage expands via microSD, and a full interface set — HDMI 1.4 output, USB-C with OTG and PD, and USB-A — feeds external monitors and accessories. Dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (2×2 MIMO), Bluetooth 5.2 and triple-mode GNSS (GPS, Galileo, BeiDou) with dynamic Home Point refresh round out a controller that runs DJI Pilot 2 on Android 11 with room to spare.
