Frequently Asked Questions

Which drones is Speedip V2+ compatible with?

It is offered in an M400 model and an M350/M300 model, and is highly compatible with the DJI Payload SDK. For other UAVs, commands and operational data can be exchanged via Speedip’s USB-C.

What is the maximum sampling depth?

The winch can release up to 10 m of rope. Actual maximum depth depends on hover height — for example, hovering 1 m above the surface gives up to 9 m depth, and 5 m above gives up to 5 m.

What container sizes and options are available?

The M400 model ships with a 2 L PMMA container (1 L stainless-steel optional); the M350/M300 model ships with a 1.1 L PMMA container (1 L stainless-steel optional). Larger custom containers are not recommended.

Is it suitable for PFAS sampling?

Yes. The PFAS-Ready package includes stainless-steel containers lab-validated to neither leach nor adsorb PFAS at ppt level, making them suitable for ultra-trace PFAS sampling.

What does Speedip V2+ not do?

It is dedicated to physical water-sample collection only. It does not perform water-quality testing, flow-velocity monitoring, or multi-point sampling within a single task.
